What You'll Learn
Week 1 – Mastering Hand-Tied Designs- these are designs that are created in your hand with the classics being the bouquets you may buy from a floristry shop, but this construction method if perfecr for funeral, wedding and events.
Develop over fifteen commercial hand-tied designs, including garden style bouquets, meadow designs, contemporary wrapping techniques, modern gifting bouquets and future floral trends.
Week 2 – Arrangements & Sustainable Mechanics
Create designs from small gift arrangements through to large statement pieces while mastering both traditional and modern sustainable mechanics including Renewal, FibreFloral, Phoam, pin holders, kenzans, sand, copper mesh, moss, tubes and many more.
Week 3 – Funeral Floristry
Build confidence creating traditional tribute work alongside contemporary sustainable funeral designs, discovering new opportunities within today's changing funeral industry.
Week 4 – Wedding Flowers
Design bridal bouquets using both traditional and modern construction methods, alongside bridesmaids' flowers, wearable flowers, buttonholes, corsages, floral jewellery and contemporary wedding mechanics.
Week 5 – The Heart of Floral Design
Understand why beautiful designs work by exploring proportion, balance, focal placement, colour harmony, trends and design theory that will transform the way you arrange flowers.
Week 6 – Building Your Floristry Business
Learn how to price profitably, market your business, source flowers, work with suppliers, manage costs, understand insurance and health & safety, and build a floristry business that works for you.
You'll also complete mock assessments and receive dedicated examination preparation before your practical assessments.

14/15/16/17/18 Focus on arrangements - small to large, wide range of mediums including new products like Renewal, FibreFloral & Phoam plus traditional- pin holders/kenzens, sand, copper mesh, tubes etc
21/22/23/24/25 Foucs on Funeral work- traditional skills including basing plus eco friendly designs, symapthy and new opportunities in the development of funerals
28/29/30/1/2 October Focus on all things bridal party- wedding bouquets with modern and traditional methods, bridesmaids, wearables- wired, glued and tied
5/6 Heart of design- exploring how design theory can help you with know how to place your flowers
7/8 Business course- support you in promotion. management and profitablility of your business

15/16 Exam prep and exam
